Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state in the late hours of Sunday presented staff of office to the newly appointed Emir of Gaya, Ibrahim Abdulkadir.
Okay Nigeria reported on Friday that a court restrained the governor from continuing the process of creation of four new emirates in the state.
Meanwhile, Ganduje denied being served with the court order and have since then continued with the process by completing the installation of the four newly appointed emirs.
The emirs are Aminu Ado-Bayero, Bichi; Tafida Ila, Rano; Ibrahim Abdulkadir, Gaya and; Ibrahim Abubakar ll, Karaye.
