Ghanaian President speaks with Buhari, apologises over demolition of building in Nigerian High Commission

Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo has called President Muhammadu Buhari over the demolition of a building inside Nigerian High Commission in Accra.

Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media & Publicity), made this disclosure in a statement issued on Tuesday.

According to Shehu, in a telephone conversation to Buhari, Akufo-Addo expressed his sincere apology over the unfortunate incident that has sparked reactions from the Nigerian government.

The Ghana leader assured President Buhari that he has directed a full investigation into the matter, assuring that justice will be served.
