Ghana’s Juliet Ibrahim Set to Host GLO Lafta Fest, Kicks Off Today

Ghanian actress is all set to kick start the anticipated GLO Lafta Fest tonight at Owerri.


Highly-anticipated, the show will parade a list of some of the continents favourite comics, and will be graced by many icons of the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Ibrahim is recipient of top honours including (recently) Tourism Ambassador and Most Stylish Actress of the Year (2016) at Mr Tourism Nigeria, Ghana’s Most Influential Actress at Falcon Awards 2016, as well as Best Red Carpet Dressed Actress of the Year at the Lagos Fashion Awards 2016.

Of Lebanese, Liberian and Ghanaian ancestry, Juliet Ibrahim is recipient of several awards including City People Magazine Achievement Award, Best Director at the Ghana Movie Awards for Shattered Romance, and Honorary Awards for Excellence in the use of Philanthropy (MAYA 2016).

She has also starred in over 30 movies including Marriage of sorrows (2009), 30 Days in Atlanta (2014), Life after Marriage (2014), Number One Fan (2014), Shattered Romance (2014), Teens Life (2015), and Ladan Noma’ (2016).
