Nigeria’s biggest indigenous telecoms operator, Globacom, has rubbished the reports circulating online that it has sacked one of its brand ambassadors, P-Square.

It would be recalled that blogosphere was awash with reports of the purported sack of the pop duo during the week.

It was alleged that the company fell out with one-half of the group, Peter, over his conduct during the grand finale of his sponsored reality show, Glo Dance

With Peter late last year. Peter reportedly insulted officials of the company for failing to keep to their own side of the bargain regarding the competition. And when the honcho of the company, Dr. Mike Adenuga heard about the incident, he was furious, and declared that P-Square should be dropped as ambassadors.

However, a trusted source in Glo revealed that the telco is yet to take a decision on the fate of P-Square with the company.

The source also stated that this situation is not peculiar to P-Square alone as the company is presently deliberating on whether or not to renew the contracts of the ambassadors whose deals are up for renewal.

Speaking further, the source assured that a decision on the company’s brand ambassadors would be reached in a couple of days.
