we reported that Mide Martins finally made peace with her estranged husband, the producer Afeez Abiodun, who abandoned their home for months. Now the producer has spoken since the supposed peaceful resolution.

Our appreciation goes out to everyone that shows concern about us,” Abiodun wrote on Instagram, adding, “God bless you all, now the storm is truly over.”

The drama surrounding Martins’ marriage started after fans queried her for not sending Abiodun a happy birthday message. In reply, she wrote a detailed note, calling her husband out and accused him of trying to destroy her.

“My husband why are you trying to destroy me? Why do you wanna kill me? What will be your achievement? Why do you wish destroy my career,” she said, adding, “This is the career that gives me money to feed the children that came out from your flesh and blood… Why do I deserve this kind of hatred from you?… Is this what I get for having stayed by your side and supported you for good 13yrs?”

Not longer after, she allegedly suffered a major breakdown, and there were unfounded claims that she allegedly cheated on him with one of the producer’s friends in South Africa, a real estate mogul.

Now the couple have truly made peace, shutting down all the rumours. Read the full note from Abiodun:
