This follows the freedom of his foster father Chief Nitabai Inegite, from kidnappers a month after he was abducted.

According to The Nation, Jonathan have condemned kidnapping when he visited Inegite at his home.

He reportedly paid the visit in the company of some prominent traditional rulers from his Otuoke community in Ogbia Local Government Area.
