Nigeria’s immediate past President, Goodluck Jonathan this evening touched down in Nigeria after a brief exit from the country, Forumspotz Media can authoritatively report.

According to sources close to the former President, Jonathan arrived Port-Harcourt this evening from Cote D’Ivoire and was already on his way to his Otuoke hometown in Bayelsa state. The former President was not harassed or subjected to any unusual security checks by security details.

There had been reports that Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was closing in on him and possibly moving to arrest him, forcing him to proceed to exile in Cote D’Ivoire.

Jonathan however denied reports that he was on exile.
