Nigerian gospel singer Damilare David Odunuga, popularly known as Dare Melody, has announced the tragic death of his wife, Adedoyin Odunuga.

Melody shared the heartbreaking news on his Instagram page, revealing that Adedoyin passed away in the early hours of Thursday, October 24, 2024.

“It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the transition to eternal rest of our beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend (Mrs. Adedoyin Odunuga, nee Odagi), who passed away early this morning today 24th of October 2024,” he wrote.

In his emotional post, Dare Melody expressed his profound sorrow and indicated that Adedoyin would remain forever in their hearts.

However, the cause of her death has not been disclosed.

Fans and colleagues have since flooded the singer’s social media with condolences, offering prayers and support during this difficult time.
