Ibikunle-Amosun

Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun has ordered workers in the state to remove all portraits of former President, Goodluck Jonathan from their offices.

Amosun explained further that a new President, Muhammadu Buhari, had been sworn in and as such it’s his photos that should be on the walls not Jonathan’s.

The governor made the declaration on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, during a tour of government offices as part of his familiarization visit to workers.

Amosun gave the order after seeing Jonathan’s portrait still hanging in an office at the state Ministry of Finance.

Jonathan vacated the office of President on Friday, May 29, when Buhari was sworn in.
