Gov. Dickson wins PDP Gubernatorial Ticket In Bayelsa.

The Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate for the December 5 elections.

Dickson was chosen at the party’s primaries which was held at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa where he was the sole candidate.

Chairman of the PDP Electoral Panel and Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose declared Dickson the winner of the primaries where he polled 447 votes.

A total number of 476 delegates led by former President Goodluck Jonathan were listed for the exercise.

452 delegates were accredited, 5 votes were voided while 24 delegates were absent according to Fayose.
