Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir el-Rufai has ordered the arrest of members of the groups which gave the Igbo three-month ultimatum to leave the north.

Samuel Aruwan, spokesman of the governor, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.

Aruwan said his principal condemned the action of the groups, and assured every resident of the state that “nobody can tamper with their freedom to reside where they choose”.
