Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina state on Monday held an enlarged closed-door meeting of stakeholders.

This is following his endorsement for the 2019 gubernatorial election by the state working committee of the All Progressives congress (APC).

According to reports, the meeting might have been called to reach a stand on the state’s position on the ongoing restructuring debates.

Among those identified at the meeting were four former governors namely Lawal Kaita, Saidu Barda, Ahmed Daku, and Abdulmumin Aminu.

Others were Senator Abba Ali, Sani Katsina, Isa Katsina, Justice Sadiq Mahuta, Bello Musa and Ali Kaita.
