Hajiya Fadimatu Umaru-Ganduje, the mother of Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, has died at the age of 95.
A family member, Alhaji Samaila Umar-Ganduje announced on Friday that Fadimatu died from a protracted illness,
He said that the deceased would be buried at Ganduje town in Dawakin Tofa Local Government by 2 .00 pm after Juma’at prayers.
She is survived by six children including the governor, Hussaini Umar, the Executive Secretary of Kano State Teachers’ Board and Samaila Umar, the Madaki of Ganduje among others.
