Aba, Nigeria – Abia State Governor Alex Otti commissioned a $35 million industrial facility in Aba on Wednesday. The plant belongs to Ultimum Limited, part of the Kadji Group. It produces Razzl brand carbonated soft drinks.

Okay News reports that the facility marks a key step for manufacturing in Aba, Nigeria’s southeastern commercial center known for trade and small-scale industry.

The plant sits in Osisioma Industrial Layout, Egbeluowor, Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area. It will make four drink variants: Pamplemousse, Cola, Orange, and Lemon. Distribution will reach markets across Nigeria.

Governor Otti called the investment a vote of confidence in Aba’s potential. He praised recent infrastructure upgrades, including a reconstructed 1.2-kilometer road to the site. Investors now see stability and growth prospects here.

“Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, join me in celebrating the leaders and pathfinders at the Kadji Group… for their confidence in the Aba business ecosystem and its network of advantages,” Otti said.

The Kadji Group plans to expand to $100 million total in the area. This facility should create jobs in production, administration, and distribution. It will also support suppliers and logistics firms.

Meanwhile, Abia State pursues broader revival efforts. These include acquiring distressed factories and building projects like a power plant. The Greater Aba Master Plan guides long-term growth in infrastructure and economy.
