Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya on Tuesday approved new appointments to his cabinet.
The appointments which were contained in a release from the Governor’s Chief of Staff, Mr Edward Onoja, showed that 31 others were also appointed to serve in the new administration.
They are:
Mrs Ayoade Folashade Arike as Secretary to the State Government
Alhaji Momoh Jubril as the new Accountant General of the state
The governor appointed Rtd Gen. Paul Okutimo Olusola as State Security Adviser
Bar. Ibrahim Sani Mohammed as State Legal Adviser and
Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Mohammed as Director General, Protocol.
On his media team, the governor named;
Mr Ademu Idakwo, Chairman of Correspondents Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Kogi State as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Print Media
Petra Akinti Onyebule and Gbenga Babayinka Olorunpomi as SSAs on Electronic and New Media respectively.
Also appointed are 20 Special advisers to the governor and five special assistants to the deputy governor.
