Antoine Griezmann has ended his five years journey at Atletico Madrid after announcing his departure to the club fans.
Okay Nigeria learned that Barcelona are in works of signing the French player for a sum of €120m (£104m).
Barca upped their efforts to sign Griezmann after they failed to sign him last summer.
The Frenchman made the announcement of his departure through Atletico Madrid’s Twitter handle.
He said in the tweet attached with a video:
“It has been five incredible years, thank you very much for everything, I carry you in my heart.”
