Gunmen have killed the Senior Special Assistant on Security to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Mr Denen Igbana.

It was gathered that the unknown gunmen stormed his house around 2AM on Friday and shot him.

A certain Terwase Agwaza popularly called Ghana and former leader of the notorious criminal gang that led over 300 followers to accept the Benue State Governor’s amnesty programme in 2015 is being accused of being responsible.

The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has directed security operatives to fish out the perpetrators, adding that the so-called Ghana would be brought in for questioning if he is implicated in the investigation.
