Hazard, Luiz and Kovacic Left Out Of Chelsea Squad For PAOK Trip [See full squad]

By Promise Amadi

Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri, has left the trio of Eden Hazard, David Luiz, and Mateo Kovacic at home, ahead of their trip to Greece to play PAOK in the Europa League on Thursday.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who has recovered from a recent calf injury, was however included in the traveling party.

It remains to be seen who Loftus-Cheek could replace if he is in the line-up, with Jorginho and N’Golo Kante being two candidates who would drop to the substitutes’ bench.

Midfielder Danny Drinkwater is not in the Europa League squad due to UEFA regulations.

Chelsea faces West Ham on Sunday and has a recent disappointing record against The Hammers. They have lost two and drawn one of their last four games against them.

CHELSEA PLAYERS WHO TRAVELLED TO GREECE:

Kepa Arrizabalaga, Willy Caballero, Marcin Bulka, Toni Rudiger, Marcos Alonso, Cesc Fabregas, Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, Ross Barkley, Pedro, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Victor Moses, Olivier Giroud, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Davide Zappacosta, Willian, Gary Cahill, Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta, Alvaro Morata, Ethan Ampadu.
