Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara, annouced the adjournment of sitting till Wednesday, November 14, 2018, over a faulty sound system.

The reason for adjournment was to create room for the sound system to be fixed.

He, however, stated that if the problem persists by Wednesday, the House will adjourn sitting indefinitely.

According to Dogara, the microphones were installed in 1999 and the panels would take three weeks to arrive Nigeria from Germany.

During plenary today, which lasted a little over an hour, lawmakers were seen passing a cordless microphone around to enable them to contribute on the floor of the House.

This is the second time in under a month that the house would be adjoining plenary over a faulty sound system.
