Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has reacted to questions on how he’ll feel if he emerges as the richest man in the world.

“It won’t really have much impact on me, because the issue today is not about who is the richest. It’s how you impactful you are to the society,” the business magnate started.

“I believe our own business is very strong and the fundamentals are there. I’m on a trajectory, and you know, I’ll get to the top. It might be maybe 3, it might be four, it might be five years but we have very good solid foundation on all our business,” the tycoon said.

“We’ll continue to lead in Africa,” he added.

He spoke in an interview on a programme titled “My Worst Day with Peace Hyde” on Forbes TV.
