Some days ago I had a problem of connecting my mobile device to my window 8.1 laptop using a wifi connection. After a lot of trying I was able to resolve this problem. While this may seems like an easy problem to fix to some, many people sometimes do experience this problem and wonder how they will be able to fix it.
This post will help to show you how you can fix this problem if you are using either the Windows 8.1 or window 10. To do this, follow the steps below.
How To fix Wifi Not Connecting On Windows 8.1
Go to control panel.
Then device manager.
Click Net work adaptor.
Click Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter
Choose driver tab.
Choose update drive.
Choose browse my computer for driver software.
Choose let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
Select the original/pervious WiFi Adaptor before the airplane mode lighted stayed orange.
How To fix Wifi Not Connecting On Window 10
 
Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager from the pop-up menu
In the Device Manager dialog box, right-click on your network adapter and click Uninstall
Check the Delete the driver software for this device option and then click OK.
 Reboot your computer and Windows will automatically install the proper driver software.
