Nigeria’s minister of state for Petroleum Resources, Mr Ibe Kachikwu on Sunday apologized to all Nigerians for the prolonged fuel scarcity plaguing the nation.

Kachikwu through his Twitter page apologized and sympathized with Nigerians while also explaining that the federal government is presently working on lasting solutions to the recurrent fuel crisis.

I apologise to Nigerians for all the pains; nobody wants to see people spend 2 hours on fuel queues. We are working on long term solutions.

The minister also embarked on an inspection tour of fuel stations in Abuja, on Sunday, to assure motorists that the fuel scarcity would soon be over.
