The Argentine forward has struggled for game time and fitness this season but insists he is not looking to quit the Ligue 1 champions in January.

Javier Pastore insists he still has “a lot to offer Paris Saint-Germain” and is not looking to leave the club during the winter transfer window.

The Argentine playmaker has endured a tough 12 months in the French capital, sparking talk of a potential exit.

Injury issues have plagued the 27-year-old, severely restricting his time out on the field.

He has made just seven appearances in all competitions this season, with only five of those coming in PSG’s defence of their Ligue 1 crown.

His last outing came in November, when he lasted 13 minutes, with a knee complaint ruling him out of Unai Emery’s plans for PSG’s last six fixtures.

Pastore’s absence has fuelled speculation that he could soon be moved on, with a return to Serie A mooted for the former Palermo playmaker.

He has, however, sought to bring an end to those rumours by reiterating his commitment to the cause at Parc des Princes, posting on Instagram: “I do not want to leave Paris, I still have a lot to offer Paris Saint-Germain.”

AC Milan and Roma are among those said to be closely monitoring Pastore’s situation, having seen him shine in the Italian top-flight between 2009 and 2011.

Liverpool and Chelsea have also been linked with the Argentina international in recent times, but interest from the Premier League has cooled of late.
