Cossy Ojiakor has revealed that she was offered N30,000 not $10,000 as widely circulated to sleep with a dog in a movie – Chico Ejiro’s movie Itohan

She further shared her parents’ story, how they were treated after that infamous dog scene that gained the actress a notoriety in the movie industry.

“I should have reported each and every pastor that defamed me during the dog saga. Yes they preached during the ordeal,” the actress recounts. “I was hurting. I was alone. I was a poor little girl trying to find her way. Trying to understand life. I was called all sorts of names.”

Cossy Ojiakor had previously explained how her role in Itohan affected her image and now, she has revealed the ordeal her parents were put through after the movie premiered.

“Pastors preached. The congregation moaned and rain curses to the name that brought shame to womanhood. My mum was in church somewhere in Abuja. The pastor preached about this fake sermon. The lust after money… The girl that slept with dog just for #10,000 dollars. Who is she then to challenge the pastor… Well she was just the mother to the girl that supposedly slept with dog. She simply left the church and never went back,” said the actress who also set the records straight: she was only paid N30,000 for the role.

Cossy Ojiakor went on to add that her father was put through hell too. “They gathered in the church and went to my village house to rain curses on the girl who brought immense shame to the church and the village. My father knew it was just a movie. So never really cared,” she said.

Following the controversial role, Cossy Ojiakor says she was no longer offered movie roles. And as though that was not enough, magazines sensationalised the story, and pastors preached against her in churches.

“That’s when I really decided that most pastors have lost touch with God. I forgave them all. The magazine. The pastors,” she says now.

However, Cossy Ojiakor may have a shocker coming for the Christian community. The actress, who has been spilling details of her adventures in the industry, hints that the mystery man she’s been pimping women to is a cleric.

“If they come after me again. Everyone goes down,” she added.
