Ibadan ‘serial killer’ who escaped from police custody re-arrested

The Police have re-arrested the suspected serial killer, Sunday Shodipe, who escaped its custody in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.

A spokesperson for the police in Oyo State, Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the news of Shodipe’s re-arrest to Okay.ng in a telephone interview on Sunday stating that details will be made available shortly.

Recall that the Commissioner of Police in the state, Joe Nwachukwu Enwonwu, in a statement announced the escape of the suspected serial killer on August 11.

A bounty of 500,000 was placed on Shodipe by the police to aid his re-arrest.
