Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said he is weighing up offers to move to a Premier League club after his contract at Paris Saint-Germain expires in the summer.

The Sweden captain has been strongly linked with a move to England’s top division if he opts to leave the Parc des Princes, with Manchester United and Arsenal both reported as potential destinations, although Gunners manager Arsene Wenger denied an interest.

Ibrahimovic, speaking ahead of his country’s friendly match at home to Czech Republic on Tuesday, said: “Yes, there is interest from the Premier League — I can confirm that.”

He said the Premier League “is the league in the world all people and fans speak about.”

But he added that he would not be rushing into his next move, explaining: “A lot of things have to feel fine when I’m going to take a decision this summer.”

Ibrahimovic has been linked with United amid suggestions he could be reunited with his former Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho.

And Old Trafford star Juan Mata told Sky Sports: “Obviously he is a very good player and I like to play with very good players.

“I don’t decide that. He decides that and the club decides that, but I think every player would be happy to play with him.”

Ibrahimovic, who has won 111 caps for Sweden, began his career at Malmo and has since played for Ajax, Inter, Juventus, Barcelona, AC Milan and PSG, where he recently won a fourth successive Ligue 1 title.

He has also played in title-winning sides in the Eredivisie, Serie A and La Liga.
