INEC Declares PDP Umahi Winner of Ebonyi Governorship Election

Ebonyi state Deputy Governor and PDP governorship candidate, Engr Dave Umahi has won the April 11 governorship election in the state. Announcing the result at the INEC’s headquarters in Abakaliki, the State Collation Officer and Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof. Joseph Ahaneku declared that Umahi scored a total of 289, 867 votes to beat his closest rival, Nkwegu, who polled 124, 817.

While the governorship candidate of APC, Senator Julius Ucha came third position with 27, 583.
