The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday extended distribution of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in Lagos by one day.

In a statement issued in Lagos, the commission said that the extension was to enable more people to collect the cards.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that INEC began the distribution of the cards in Lagos on Friday.

The exercise was to end on Sunday but it will now end on Monday.

The statement said: “This will allow more Lagos residents to obtain their PVCs.

“All who have yet to obtain their PVCs should take advantage of this extension to collect them.’’
