The residents of Katsina, the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday came out in numbers to protest the raging insecurity affecting the region.

In photos shared on social media, the protesters are calling on the federal government to curb the killings by bandits in the state.

Some of the inscriptions written on the placard carried by the protesters called on the Buhari/Masari to resign if protection can not be given to the residents.

Okay.ng understands that the protesters are marching to the state government house but security operatives have barricaded the route.
