The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has successfully reached an agreement with Dangote Refinery to lift petroleum products directly, ensuring a steady and affordable supply across the country.

In a briefing held in Abuja, IPMAN President Abubakar Garima highlighted that the agreement will bolster partnerships between the association and Dangote Refinery, enabling a more reliable distribution of products at affordable prices.

Garima urged IPMAN members to support this new collaboration, emphasizing its potential to contribute to Nigeria’s economic growth.

“After meeting with Aliko Dangote and his management team in Lagos, we are pleased to announce that Dangote Refinery has agreed to supply IPMAN with PMS, AGO, and DPK directly for distribution to our depots and retail outlets,” Garima said.

“IPMAN members should rely on Dangote Refinery and Nigerian refineries for white products, creating more job opportunities and supporting President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda,” he said.

IPMAN had earlier raised concerns about the high logistical costs of obtaining petrol from Dangote Refinery, prompting independent marketers to seek alternatives at other depots.
