The Kano State chapter of Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has directed its members to sell petrol at N150 per litre.

IPMAN Chairman in Kano, Bashir Danmallam, made this disclosure in a statement issued on Wednesday.

According to Danmallam, the directive followed the new price modulation announced by the Petroleum Products Marketing Company.

He said: “I have accordingly, instructed our members in Kano to comply, by selling the product at N150 per litre.”

According to him, the directive was also in compliance with the government’s earlier statement that it would review the price of the commodity on a monthly basis, depending on the price at the international market.
