Pro-Biafran group, Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), has condemned son of former Biafran warlord, Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu, Mr. Debe Ojukwu, for making spurious claims about the leadership of the group.

What prompted the out pouring is because Ojukwu claimed in a newspaper report, that Nnamdi Kanu is not the IPOB leader.

A statement sent via em-mail and signed by the Director of Publicity, Emma Powerful, posits that Debe Ojukwu does not know anything about the formation of the group founded by detained Kanu.

“This statement shows that he is not properly informed about the movement and restoration of Biafra. We regret that some body from the family of the former Biafra leader, late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu or one of the sons is making this type of unsavoury statement.”
