By Oluwadara Akingbohungbe

ANTALYA, Turkey – On Saturday, April 18, 2026, the deputy foreign minister of Iran, Saeed Khatibzadeh, stated that United States President Donald Trump tweets and talks frequently following threats of fresh military strikes from Washington.

Okay News reports that Khatibzadeh addressed journalists during an annual diplomatic forum in the southern Turkish province.

“The American side tweets a lot, talks a lot. Sometimes confusing, sometimes, you know, contradictory,” Khatibzadeh said.

The Iranian official made the statement after Washington threatened strikes against Tehran if no deal was reached.
