Abuja, NIGERIA – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially commenced the reprinting of examination slips for candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Okay News reports that the board issued the directive on Thursday, April 9, 2026, emphasizing that the slip is a mandatory document for all candidates. The reprinted slip contains vital information, including the assigned examination centre, date, and specific time slot for each candidate.
JAMB warned that the slip serves as the official entry pass into the Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres. Any candidate who fails to present a physical copy of their slip will be denied access to the examination hall under any condition. To ensure a hitch-free exercise, the board advised candidates to use accredited cyber cafés or reliable business centres if they are unable to print the document themselves.
This announcement follows a series of preparatory steps by the board, including the recent 2026 UTME Mock examination. Candidates are urged to reprint their slips immediately to avoid last-minute technical glitches or congestion and are further advised to locate their venues ahead of the scheduled exam date to ensure punctuality. Strict adherence to examination guidelines and punctuality remain key to a successful outing as the board continues its efforts to ensure a seamless and credible examination process across the country.
