The government of Jersey Island has given conditions for which it would repatriate the $300 million Sani Abacha looted from the federal government.

In a meeting between the Minister and Attorney General of Jersey Island, Robert J. MacRae and chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commision, Ibrahim Magu, MacRae the exchange “must be government to government cooperation”.

The EFCC was accompanied at the meeting by four members of the Nigeria delegation.

The meeting took place after a session at the ongoing 7th Session of Conference of State Parties to the United Nations Convention Against Corruption, holding in Vienna, Austria.
