Isah Idris, the speaker of Jigawa State House of Assembly, has been impeached, Okay Nigeria reports.
The digital news platform reported that Idris was impeached during an emergency seating with with 20 out of 30 lawmakers on Thursday.
However, Idris Garba Kareka, was been elected as the new speaker of the House after the completion of impeachment process.
