Court vacates order stopping INEC from conducting Adamawa supplementary governorship election

Justice Abdulazeez Waziri, a Yola High Court Judge has vacated an earlier order he instituted stopping the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from conducting gubernatorial supplementary elections in Adamawa state.

This is contained in the rulings delivered by the high court judge Tuesday morning in Yola.

He also ruled that his court has the jurisdiction to continue with entertaining a case instituted by the supposed candidate of the Movement for Restoration and Defense of Democracy (MRDD), Rev Eric Theman.

Waziri adjourned the case for hearing tomorrow Wednesday 27, 2019.
