A tragic incident occurred on Sunday afternoon as a mosque collapsed in the Papa Ajao area of Lagos State during afternoon prayers.

According to initial reports gathered by Okay.ng, many people are feared dead.

The collapse happened as worshippers gathered for their prayer session.

Emergency responders and local residents rushed to the scene, pulling several bodies from the rubble.

Both dead and injured victims have been recovered, but many more are feared trapped beneath the debris.
