The Kaduna chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has delivered a sharp rebuke to former Governor Nasir El-Rufai, effectively denying his purported membership.

In a move that underscores the party’s insistence on internal protocol, the SDP’s Northwest Assistant National Secretary, Idris Inuwa, publicly dismissed El-Rufai’s claims, stating that the former APC stalwart has failed to adhere to established enrollment procedures.

This declaration casts serious doubt on El-Rufai’s narrative of a value-driven departure from the ruling party, and instead paints a picture of a politician facing significant hurdles in his attempt to reposition himself.
