In a recent development at the Nigerian Senate, the upper legislative chamber has approved the National Anthem Bill 2024.
The bill is meant to reinstate the old anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”
The bill awaits the Executive President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s assent to become a law within the Nigeria federation.
This bill is a result of the House of Representatives passage last Thursday.
