Kano APC Vice-Chairman Dies at 73

Alhaji Ali Danmaraya, the Vice-Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, has died.

Aged 73, Danmaraya died at his residence on Thursday morning after a brief illness.

He was buried according to Islamic rites at the Farm Centre Cemetery in Tarauni Local Government Area of the state.

The funeral prayer was attended by Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje, his Deputy, Prof. Hafizu Abubakar, among others.

Briefing newsmen after the burial, Ganduje described the deceased as a hardworking and dedicated member of the party.

He said the party would miss him greatly because of his exemplary leadership qualities and kindness to the people.
