Deputy Governor of Kano state, Hafeez Abubakar, has reportedly left the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the People Democratic Party (PDP).
Sources close to the Deputy Governor confirmed the report of the defection to Okay Nigeria.
The PDP in a tweet on its official handle @OfficialPDPNig has since welcomed Abubakar for returning to the party.
