The Divisional Police Officer in charge of Shanono Local Government Area of the state, SP. Hamisu Garko is dead.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Magaji Majiya disclosed this to newsmen in Kano in Kano on Thursday.

According to him, Garko died on Sept. 3, as a result of ghastly motor accident.

“Until his death, the deceased was the Divisional Police Officer, Shanono Local Government Area,” he said.

The police image maker added that the late police officer had been buried in his home town, Garko, in accordance with the Islamic rites.
