Residents of Kano have called for an end to the ongoing #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protests, urging protesters to embrace dialogue instead. This comes after President Bola Tinubu’s recent broadcast, in which he called for dialogue to address the nation’s challenges.

In separate interviews, residents commended the President’s call for dialogue, emphasizing its importance in resolving disputes. They expressed concerns about the protests being hijacked by hoodlums and urged protesters to give dialogue a chance.

Entrepreneur Taiye Hassan advised protesters to retreat, saying the President has listened to their complaints. Businessman Bala Muhammad cautioned against infiltration by individuals with sinister motives, while school teacher A’isha Ibrahim appealed for calm and urged the President to match his words with action.

Journalist Nura Imam emphasized dialogue as the best option, acknowledging the economic pressures faced by Nigerians. He urged protest leaders to retreat, as their voices have been heard, and encouraged unity among youths.
