Kano: Takia Wins Kano PDP’s Gubernatorial Ticket, As Abacha’s Son Withdraws Last Minute

So like Alao AKala withdrew a night before PDP primaries in Oyo Sate, Sanni Abacha’s son, Muhammad Abacha last night also withdrew from the 2015 Governorship race, just few hours to the party’s primary elections this morning.

The elections has however taken place with Alhaji Sagir Salihu Takai emerging as the winner after defeating six other aspirants to cling the party’s governorship ticket.
