Katsina Government Approves N5.9b Contracts For Infrastructural Development

The Katsina State government has approved about N5.96billion worth of contract for the construction of feeder roads and rehabilitation of some of its General hospitals.

Speaking to newsmen, the Commissioner of Information and Home Affairs, Hamza Brodo, said the projects are meant to better the lives of the populace.

A breakdown of the works approved include: 39 feeder roads at N2.8b, a 16.5 km Kankia – Kusada road at 1.9bn, conversion of Funtua solar street light to electricity at N161.5m.

Others are, remodelling of Mulumfashi General hospital at N678m, upgrading works at Health Technology Kankia at N142m, Muduru water works at the cost of N114m as well as rehabilitation of the state Lagos liaison office at N125m.
