Kebbi State Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has released funds for the payment of local allowances of the 2016 Batch B, Stream I and II, who served in state.

State NYSC Coordinator, Alhaji Lawal Turawa, who disclosed this while speaking at the passing out ceremony of 1,598 Batch A, Stream 11 corps members, added that the governor had deplored accountants to various local governments area offices to disburse their arrears into their various accounts.

He commended Bagudu for his fatherly love and passion for corps members in the state, saying the scheme would forever be grateful to his administration over his assistance to the organisation.

Turawa disclosed that out of the 1,598 corps members, three absconded from service, two were to repeat their service, while five got state awards.
