Kelechi Iheanacho Named 9th World Best Under-21 Player

Nigeria and Manchester City youngster, Kelechi Iheanacho, has been adjudged the ninth most valuable Under-21 player on the planet earth, according to a report by Soccerex.

The Nigerian international who starred in Manchester City’s pre-season defeat against Bayern Munich on Wednesday is worth £16.8m, according to the report Soccerex Prime Time Sport’s Football Value Index study, Completesportsnigeria.com gathered.

France forward  Anthony Martial was adjudged the most valuable Under-21 player on the planet and was valued at £39.7m, a figure which doubles Iheanacho’s worth in the top ten list.

Schalke’s Leroy Sane and Bayern Munich’s Renato Sanches made up the top three places.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli, Kingsley Coman, Embolo, Marcus Rashford and Max Meyer, in that order, finished above Iheanacho.
