Kelechi Nwakali Joins MVV Maastricht on Loan

Arsenal have shipped Nigeria youngster Kelechi Nwakali on loan to Dutch club MVV Maastricht.

Dutch second division club Maastricht confirmed Nwakali’s arrival with manager Ron Elsen saying he hopes the attacking midfielder comes through this phase of his career.

The Nigeria U20 skipper is expected to gain experience on loan in Holland.

The 18-year-old Nwakali signed a long-term deal with Arsenal this month.

He was the MVP of last year’s FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile, which Nigeria won.
