Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has started the new year on a high note, as he announced his marriage to his lover Tiwi on his Instagram page.
The actor, who is known for his roles in movies such as Falling, Family Forever, Tinsel, and Aníkúlápó, posted some beautiful photos of himself and his wife on January 1, 2024, and expressed his joy and gratitude.
In the first photo, Kunle Remi and Tiwi are seen posing in front of a car, with the actor holding a bouquet of flowers. He captioned the photo: “TIWI -: Hey KR, Pull up!”
In the second photo, the couple are seen holding hands and showing off their wedding rings. He wrote: “KR -: Pulled up and put a ring on it.”
In the third photo, the newlyweds are seen embracing each other and smiling. He wrote: “BOO -: Locked in.”
Kunle Remi also shared a message of hope and prayer for his fans who are looking for their soulmates. He said that he and his wife prayed that God would give them the divine ability to meet their person and begin the journey of a lifetime. He urged them to stay calm and open to God’s vision of what was best for them.
He wrote: “I know you want to see more. But first : This is from us to you reading this. We pray that the divine ability to meet your person and begin the journey of a lifetime is yours. We know fully well that the Love God has for you will be the balm against hopelessness and searching to no end. We ask you to stay calm and open to God’s definition of the best for you. We know two things: your person is already born, and they reside on earth. Stay open, expectant, and ready because 2024 you will celebrate in double. Amen.”
Kunle Remi had previously revealed that he was in a serious relationship in April 2023, when he appeared as a guest on the TVC programme, Your View.
He said: “I mean, it is nothing to hide. I have someone. I’m serious.”
The actor, who was born on 18th October 1988, rose to fame after winning the 7th edition of Gulder Ultimate Search in 2010.
He has since featured in several movies and TV shows, and has won several awards and nominations for his acting skills.
